Travel grant given by the Deutsche Mathematiker-Vereinigung and European Mathematical Society to attend the International Congress of Mathematics (ICM) 2022 in St. Petersburg, Russia, in July 2022. NOTE: The travel grant was cancelled because the congress was moved to online mode due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

4-year PhD scholarship given by the College of Science and Engineering at University of Galway. The topic was quantum games, and my supervisor was Dr. Michael Mc Gettrick at the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at UoGalway.

I also applied and received a 5-month extension given by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) for  disrupted research during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Scholarship given by the GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung to participate in the two-month International Summer Student Program at GSI-FAIR 2016, Research for Undergraduates, in Darmstadt, Germany.

Mobility grant, now known as French Research Residency, given by the French Embassy in Ireland and Campus France. I worked for one month with Dr. Damian Markham and his group at LIP6 at Sorbonne Université in Paris, France.

My article "The Estimation of Wind Speed: Challenging the Insurance Company’s Decision" won the Graham Hoare Prize 2022, awarded annually to Early Career Mathematicians by the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications (IMA) for "a brilliant Mathematics Today article". 

Fellowship given by the Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematics and Physics (ESI) in Vienna, Austria. I worked with Dr. Borivoje Dakić and his group at University of Vienna for 2 months. The project description is found here.

Personally invited by the company Horizon Quantum to participate in a Hackathon from 27th Nov - 2nd Dec 2023 in Bali, Indonesia. Our team was composed by Alexandre Cesar Ricardo, Gabriel Fernandes, Bart van der Vecht, and me; we won one honoray prize worth $5000.

One of the five winners of the awards for an excellent support in maths and statistics because of my work at the Support for Undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics (SUMS) at the School of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences at University of Galway. The award is given by the Sigma Network.

Selected to attend the 10th Heidelberg Laureate Forum, which brings together the recipients of the most prestigious awards in mathematics and computer science and 200 selected young researchers.

I contributed with a poster, a 2-minute presentation, and a drawing for the intercultural project.

I also received an Abbe Grant to cover all costs related to the forum, issued from the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung foundation, given only to 30 young researchers.
